Hello Linda

The specification says 'Psychological explanations of one eating disorder: for example, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, obesity' and 'Biological explanations, including neural and evolutionary explanations, for one
eating disorder: for example, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, obesity'.

So, yes students only will need to have studied one eating disorder and it could be any eating disorder. Questions will be set on an eating disorder rather than a named disorder. This is different from the psychopathology section on Unit 4 where there will be one question for each of the three disorders.

Hi, I noticed on the resources section lokks like scheme of work, there are ref to biological and psychological causes for anorexia, bulimia and obesity. Am I right in thinking only ONE of these illnesses have to be covered? Are the students ok to focus on one of these areas or will there be questions on all of them?
