We are aware that these days, for many teachers, it is difficult to take students to conferences because of the transport costs and organisational issues related to taking students out of school. Because of this we have been involved in an increasing number of ‘in-house’ courses.  Our fees are £1000 plus VAT per day for two speakers plus expenses, or £700 plus VAT for one speaker plus expenses. This may sound a lot but often works out less expensive for students than the cost of transport and tickets to a distant venue. Also some schools are willing to fund courses partially or wholly from funds such as Aim Higher. We are happy to discuss financial arrangements with you. 

Some examples of conferences we have run: 

AS and/or A2 AQA A revision conference If you have a large number of students you might arrange your own revision conference. This might be an AS conference in the morning and A2 in the afternoon. You could also contact other schools nearby and see if they wanted to join with you. 

Teacher INSET This can be cheaper than commercially run courses and tailored to your needs. You assemble 5 or more teachers from your own or neighbouring school for a full or half day course covering almost any-exam related topic you can think of, such as : delivering the AS and A2 specification, marking, question-setting, research methods.
